Thrive DC is a non-profit organization that works to prevent and end homelessness in Washington, DC by providing vulnerable people with a wide range of services to help stabilize their lives. We feel honored to contribute to Thrive DC, as we know they are currently serving over 250 people a day and over 153,000 meals annually.
World Services has been a proud sponsor of Bridges to Independence SAFE AT HOME Kickball Tournament. The SAFE AT HOME Kickball Tournament is a friendly and fun competition to raise money to support families overcoming homelessness. Bridges to Independence provides these families and those at risk of becoming homeless with skills, knowledge, and community networks in hopes of becoming self-sufficient and ultimately break the inter-generational cycle of poverty.
